In mid 2019, NZ racing legend Rhys Millen negotiated the 156 bends, across 12.4 miles, of one the most dangerous hill climbs in the world, setting a new record for a production car at a time of 10 minutes and 18.4 seconds. A superhuman achievement in an extraordinary machine. To celebrate this record, Bentley released the 'Pikes Peak Edition', with only 15 examples produced world wide, 5 in right hand drive and only 3 with the factory livery, this truly is a rare beast.
Taking a standard Continental GT and making anything but normal. A Twin Turbo W12 pumping out 626 hp and a whopping 900Nm of torque, with power going to the ground through all four wheels, this 3 tonne Grand Tourer still launches to 100km/h in only 3.6 seconds. Sporting an array of other competition focused mechanical and electronic modifications, this weapon handles like no other Bentley I've ever driven.
But it's not just about performance in a Bentley, it's the finer details that really set it apart from the pack, and this is no different. You have the luxury materials and features we've all come to expect from the Bentley marque, massage seats, surround sound audio, Bentley Rotating Display, auto-levelling suspension, night vision, interior mood lighting, the list goes on.
