History & Ownership
Imported to New Zealand with 38,913 miles.
Has been in the country for 30 years (not a fresh import), first registered in NZ in 1995.
Averaged only 392 miles per year over the past 13 years.
Engine & Performance
The 455 Big Block V8 and Turbo 400 transmission are strong and reliable with no major repairs or reconditioning required.
Upgrades & Features:
New Hedman Headers installed approximately two years ago.
750 Holley Double Pumper Carb added at the same time.
Chrome alternator.
Big alloy radiator & electric fan.
Factory power steering.
Roadrunner starter.
"Lumpy" camshaft provides an aggressive V8 sound.
Heating system has never been connected (pipe may be available but never installed).
Originally fitted with a 350 Rocket engine & 2-speed Powerglide transmission.
The current 455 Big Block engine is believed to be from a 1970/71 Oldsmobile, though exact details are unverified.
Wheels & Tyres
American Racing Torq Thrust II Alloy Rims fitted several years ago but barely used.
Rear Tyres: 295/35z/R18 like new.
Front Tyres: 245/45z/R18 like new.
Interior
Believed to be original Gold velour seats & hood lining (good condition for its age).
Door cards & seat bases show some signs of wear but remain presentable.
Black carpets in very good condition.
Factory bucket seats.
No stereo installed the sound of the V8 provides all the entertainment needed.
Additional Features & Notes
Body & Paint: No known rust repairs or major bodywork in recent years. Rear wheel arches were professionally rolled to accommodate wider rear rims.
Boot repainted a couple of years ago for a cleaner look.
Rear air shocks with a filler valve located behind the rear number plate.
Rear brake cylinders recently reconditioned.
Incorrect registration listing: The vehicle is incorrectly registered with "442" added to the Cutlass name. This is NOT a 442, but changing the record is a complex process, so it remains as is.
Previous ownership history:
The aggressive gear set and large rev counter suggest some performance modifications in the past.
Engine bay & presentation: Clean but not show-quality. Further cosmetic refinements were planned if the engine required removal, though this was never necessary.
A rare opportunity to own a 1969 Cutlass Supreme with a powerful 455 V8, period-correct muscle car styling, and tasteful modifications. Well-maintained with minimal use in recent years.

Serious buyers only. Viewing & inspections welcome.
