CHASSIS AND UNDERBODY
Transporter from Taupo to Retro Custom Caravans Edgecumbe
On hoist waterblast all chassis and prep for 2 pak
Remove drawbar and old style hitch and front leg
Reman and fit longer drawbar to allow for bike rack
Fit new hitch and safety chain
Fit new trailer plug and wiring for WoF lights
Fit new jockey wheel
Remove wheels and bearings
Fit 2 new 16 LCV tyres
Fit new white sidewalls
Get s/hand rim and reman for spare wheel fit good s/hand tyre
Clean all wheel bearings and surfaces repack with HP grease and refit
Remove old brake cables and plastic gas pipe
All chassis and underbody in excellent condition
Prep and apply 2 pak anti-corrosion black
Clean up and re-grease corner support legs and check operation

EXTERIOR
Waterblast all exterior to remove remaining flaky paint and mildew
Check all panels and seams for water tightness and fitment
Remove old awning track and replace with new.
Tidy all roof seams and strips. Reseal all seams and RAROL plug
Remove old material on roof from previous repair after tree damage
Clean and repair with correct material/method
Etch prime and paint all roof seams after re-sealing
Remove corroded side vent, cover with new plate and seal
Make front stone protectors and fit to front panel
Polish stainless trims in good order and no visible electrolysis to lower panel
Remove all windows both fixed and opening
Polish window frames and replace slides/openers where necessary
Refit fixed windows with new rubbers and inserts
Fit new rubbers to all opening windows and refit
Remove roof vents and refurb all slides and refit.......................
